Julie Griffis, Physical Therapist, General Practice
Julie Griffis is a Vermonter with more than 12 years of clinical practice as a Physical Therapist in a wide variety of treatment settings, Julie brings her love of medicine, the body, and the mechanics of movement together in her
PT practice. She will work with you and your preferred physician to develop an individual program that best meets your needs.
Her practice is defined by diversity. She has worked as a pediatric physical therapist and in sub-acute rehabilitation in nursing homes. She has provided out-patient physical therapy to golfers, post-op rehabilitation afor spine surgery patients, and pain management without pharmaceutical intervention. Her specialties range from total join replacement rehabilitation to chronic pain management to myofascial release.
Among the many conditions Julie has treated in her PT practice are hip replacement, joint replacement, total knee replacement, spine surgery, rotator cuff repair, and ACL repairs. In her energetic bodywork, Julie has helped clients find relief from migraines, stress, low back pain, chronic pain, scar tissue, and neck pain. Her patient population includes senior citizens, stroke survivors, athletes, yoga practitioners, teens and children.
Her goal is to empower her patients to take an active roll in their own healing. Julie’s enthusiastic and caring approach provides her patients with the tools they need to achieve happier lives and greater health.
When asked about her new position at All Wellness, Julie recalls Kids Day on the train with her kids in Burlington. As the train rolled passed the All Wellness sign on Flynn Avenue, Julie set her heart on working in a new environment with other skilled caring practitioners. As she developed her home-based physical therapy practice, she kept her eye on the All Wellness website for a potential placement here at the studio.
“I am excited to be in a place where I am able to finally combine my love of the practice of physical therapy with my personal passion and beliefs of the healing powers that we all possess. I am honored to be able to teach others how to use their inner spirit as a gift of healing.”
