Pilates Reformer

 Pilates Reformer Classes

Small group classes and experienced instructors; welcome to the Pilates Reformer.  The Reformer can help you reach new a range of movement, or challenge you to take a familiar movement to the next level. The Reformer works with a spring and pulley system that is adjusted for each exercise. Your instructor will guide you through these settings during class.

Reformer classes use the Reformer, in combination with other props and Pilates mat exercises to create a complete workout that will challenge and invigorate your mind as well as your body. Please sign up for the class level appropriate for your body and level of experience.  For the benefit of all, instructors will teach to the level of class advertised.  If you have specific physical concerns (low bone density, pregnancy, any significant injuries) please speak to us beforehand so that we can help you create a plan for your Pilates program.

To begin Pilates Reformer classes you can either complete Three Introductory Reformer Privates or complete one of our Introduction to Pilates series (scheduled throughout the year). These classes will introduce  you to the basic repertoire of exercises and show you how to use the Reformer.  Introductory Privates are scheduled at your convenience, but we recommend not spacing each private out more than a week from each other so you don’t forget what you’ve learned!  Call the studio anytime to schedule your Three Introductory Reformer Privates, or request your appointments via our online webscheduler.   Our Introduction to Pilates series runs throughout the year – check our workshops page for the next upcoming series.

Reformer classes are offered at Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.
