Lucy D'Aponte, MSPT CYT
Lucy D’Aponte is an integrative physical therapist, bridging the knowledge of traditional physical therapy techniques with the long-practiced therapeutics of yoga to deliver skilled services to individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, managing chronic pain, weakness from past injuries, balance issues, and surgeries or repetitive strains.
Her knowledge of movement and wellness began as a dancer in New York City. Lucy continued on to receive her master’s degree in physical therapy, yoga teacher certification, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy certification (a mind/body therapy) and ongoing manual therapy courses.
Lucy provides compassionate and holistic physical therapy by treating the whole client not just their body part. She also offers private yoga sessions.
Karen Bumpus, DPT & Pelvic Floor Specialist
Karen received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Massachusetts, Lowell. Since graduating, she has worked alongside some of the leading pelvic floor therapists in New England as a member of a specialty pelvic and women’s health physical therapy practice in the Boston area.
Since obtaining her doctorate, she remains up-to-date with the most current treatment approaches by attending numerous courses covering a variety of topics including mindfulness-based pain treatment and orthopedic treatments for the pregnant patient.
Karen offers a comfortable, safe and respectful atmosphere to discuss the intimate aspects of women’s health. Her mission is to empower the women she treats, and to provide them with the tools to reconnect with and heal their bodies.
Katherine Dwyer, DPT
Kat received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont.
Her specialties include orthopedic and sports-related injuries with extensive knowledge in hips, knees, shoulders, and cervical impairments. Throughout her training, she has refined a dynamic assortment of techniques including myofascial release, manual therapy, PNF techniques, and traditional therapeutic modalities.
She completed a comprehensive training in Pilates through the Polestar® Pilates Rehabilitation curriculum. This gives her the unique ability to create exercise programs for her patients using Pilates principles based on her patients’ individual needs and diagnoses
Kat is known for building strong, inspirational relationships with clients, and her personal passion for health and wellness is infectious.
